A little flashback to my visit to Washington DC earlier this year. I converted it to sepia to give it a real old feel to amplify flashback, as well as a little cropping.
Thanks for you comments on my last post, I'm glad you like it.
Thats really nice, the sepia adds a warm tone and creates that nostalgic feeling

At first glance, this blog seemed like a study in photo realism, but then that orange golden-glow water fountain is de jazziest, cool & deadliest abstract photo -- it's really battling wid de realist rum bottles for 1st place on this blog.

As soon as I look up what "sepia" is/means I am so gonna make a stirring comment...but for now, simply beautiful is all I can manage

GReat shot! The browny grey softens the sharp sun/shadow contrasts, now the architectural beauty of the building is more clearly visible, it's really a postcard now! BTW Thanks for your comment, nice to meet someone from Jamaica, I've two colleagues from Jamaica and sometimes a student. Very nice people who spread optimism and cheerfulness around them!
