Another wasp shot that I took in my back yard. This little fella was busy, as it seems he was chomping away at pieces of the dry wood.

The main thing about this picture is how well the wasp stands out with its colours (The (almost) monochromatis environment just did the "trick")

Nicely done. Maybe she found some lunch hiding under the bark, seems odd she'd need nest material so late in the season. Always great to see them in action.
