"Silent river...

... runs deep", is a popular saying here in Jamaica and how so true it is for this river. This body of water was beautiful, but at the same time it had the most intimidating look! Just from the look of the water you could tell it was deep and that was even made worse by the countless number of swirls and tiny whirlpools that danced on the surface of the water. I definitely would be caught swimming in that river!

this is gorgeous -- it does look deep! like it is filled to the rim... i would be more worried about what swam below the surface!! so deep and dark!! very intriguing!

I have heard a similar phrase; "still waters run deep". I guess it means the same.

That is a beautiful river. I do wonder how deep it really is.

It's a small world when you see these great landscape studies of yours my friend....they could have been taken in Wales(centre of the Universe)..the scenery is very similar..
