Yesterday you got a chance to meet one of my neighbours who seems to be a web junkie. Today you meet another one of my neighbours, a Ground Lizard. These lizards are quite unlike their tree loving cousins as spend their lives on the ground and can grow up to 2 feet in length. This colourful lizard allowed me to come close up to take his picture. I don't think he was just posing for the photo, but was rather curious to see a normally upright two legged creature on his hands and feet with a weird contraption coming towards him.

I love lizards. Snakes, not so much, but lizards (other than me afraid of being bitten) I think are beautiful.
