The surface was filled with craters as i hovered over with my Z650.

I first thought it to be something from a reef, like a sponge or coral. Looking closer, I'm not quite as certain of what it might be. But I am sure it's a very cool photo. Bravo Stunner!

Cool macro. I love these types of shots on blogs -- where you basically have to figure what something is. :)
